Is RupeeRedee a bank or an NBFC?
We are a new age fintech company facilitating quick Personal Loans to both Salaried & Self-Employed segment. We work with multiple NBFCs at the backend to bring to you the best in personal finance. Your loan agreement will indicate the NBFC name and other details/ terms of agreement.
Can I apply for a loan by telephone or visiting your office?

Who can apply for a loan with RupeeRedee? What is the eligibility criteria?
Any Indian resident between the age of 21 and 65 years with a minimum monthly income of ₹15,000 from a verifiable source may be eligible to apply for a loan with RupeeRedee. We welcome both salaried and self-employed individuals, subject to meeting our internal eligibility checks and policy guidelines.

My repayment status hasn't been updated. Why?
Repayment status updates can sometimes take a little time to reflect, If it’s been more than 3 business days since your payment and the status still hasn’t changed, please contact our support team and share transaction details so we can assist you promptly.
What documents are required for applying for a loan from RupeeRedee?
We've made the process quick and easy. You just need to keep the following documents ready:
Aadhaar Card (as address proof)
PAN Card
A clear recent photograph (if asked)
No physical documents or bank statements are required. You only need to provide basic details during the digital application process.
Why do you need my KYC / Banking documents?
We require KYC documents to comply with RBI’s Know Your Customer (KYC) regulations. These help us verify your identity and assess your eligibility for a loan. Our system uses this information to offer the best loan product based on your profile, while keeping the process fast and secure.
Can I re-apply?
Yes, absolutely! Even if your loan application was not approved earlier, you can apply again. We understand that financial situations change, so you're always welcome to re-apply whenever you're ready. Please ensure your KYC details are accurate and up to date for the best chance of approval.
What is the rate of interest?

Are there any other charges other than interest?
Yes, RupeeRedee may charge a processing fee and service fee. For complete details, please refer to our Product details.
Does RupeeRedee carry out credit score checks?
Our lending partners may check your credit history, if available. But, having a low credit score or absence of previous credit history doesn’t necessarily prevent you from getting a loan through RupeeRedee.
Do I Have To Be Employed To Take A Loan?
To be eligible to get a loan from RupeeRedee, one should have a regular source of income which should reflect in the bank details submitted by you.
Can I Have More Than One Loan At A Time?
No, an individual is entitled to take only one loan at a time. You can avail another loan once you have repaid the ongoing loan. There is no cap on the number of loans you can apply for through a period of time.
Do I Need To Give Any Collateral Or Security To Avail Loan?
We promise to keep it simple, just complete the application formalities and submit the required documents and your loan will be ready.
Do I Need A Guarantor, To Apply Loan With RupeeRedee?
No, you do not need a guarantor to request loan with RupeeRedee. We only take your individual information into consideration
Why Was My Loan Application Not Approved?
We understand that it can be disappointing to see your loan application being rejected but assessment of your loan application is done as per the risk assessment and underwriting policy of our lending partners. While they do their best to serve maximum number of customers but there can be various factors which may lead to a rejection.
Should I Enter My Monthly Salary Or Annual Earnings?
Kindly, enter the salary you receive as reflected in your bank statement each month.
Is KYC Mandatory?
Yes. Lenders on RupeeRedee website are regulated by RBI. To use our products, you must complete your KYC process.
What All Documents Are Acceptable As Address Proof?
Our lending partners accept Aadhaar Card as valid address proof. We believe in a simple and fast application process. Please ensure that the uploaded file is under 2 MB and in JPG, JPEG, or PNG format.
What Are The Things I Need To Be Sure Of While Uploading The Documents?
You should watch out for the following: a. The documents provided should be latest b. All images must be clear and readable c. Size of the file must not exceed 2MB d. Format should be JPG, JPEG or PNG only
Why Should I Share My PAN Card Details?
PAN is required as per RBI guidelines for banks and NBFCs and since all our partners are fully compliant with regulation, we need this information to process your loan request.
Do I Need To Upload The Documentation Every Time?
No, you don’t need to upload the documentation every time unless your key KYC details have changed — for example, if your address or PAN has been updated. We believe in making your loan experience smooth and hassle-free.
How Safe Is Using RupeeRedee And Sharing My Data?
We use 256-bit level encryption which is one of the most secured encryption methods. Along with that we are certified by CISA and our IT and business system are monitored, managed and protected by using highly developed and globally recognized methods. We understand your hesitation which is why we work with reputable partners.
Can you provide the reason for my application rejection?
We understand how important your application is, and we’re here to help. The common reasons for rejection may include:
(a) Incomplete or inaccurate application details
(b) Not meeting eligibility criteria
(c) Low credit score or negative credit history
(d) Overdues
How Fast Can I Get My Loan?
If you have your PAN, latest photograph, and address proof ready, and your bank account has active net banking, you can complete your loan application within minutes. Upon successful verification and approval, the loan amount is disbursed instantly after digital agreement execution.
Can I Get My Loan On Holidays?
Yes, our digital loan application and approval process is accessible 24x7, including weekends and public holidays, via our website and Android application.
How Do I Know If My Application Is Approved?
Once your application is approved, you'll receive a notification on your mobile and an email confirmation. If we need additional information, we’ll inform you via SMS/email. You can also check your application status via the RupeeRedee mobile app.
What Can I Do With This Loan?
The loan amount must be utilised for the purpose disclosed in the loan application. Any illegal use of the loan amount may lead to event of default and attract legal action as per law.
What Happens If I Default Or Can’t Repay My Loan?
We believe in working with customers for the long term. However, in case you are unable to repay your full due amount, we have options of extending the loan as per discretion of the lender. But in case you default completely on payment, then the lender will levy penalty charges, inform the same to the Credit Bureau impacting your future chances for getting loans and invoke other provisions as per the agreement. Please do inform us in advance so that we can help you with all possible options.
Can I Repay My Loan Amount Before The Due Date?
Yes, you can repay your loan anytime during the loan term. Just log into the RupeeRedee app to make the payment.
How Can I Repay My Loan, Is Cash Accepted?
We do not accept cash payments. Repayments can be made using Net Banking, UPI, Debit Cards, or other digital payment options listed in the app.
Why and How Can I Register For Automatic Repayment?
It is a simple process where you grant an e-consent/ Digital Mandate to set repayment towards your loan account. The same can be done at the time of availing the loan to avoid any delay in repayment. This will ensure that you never forget to repay on time and improve your credit history!
How Will Payment Or Prepayment Be Adjusted?
All payments are adjusted in the following order: Approval Fee (deducted at disbursal), Late Payment Fee (if applicable), Overdue Interest (if any), Service Fee, Interest, Principal Amount Extension Fee applies only if an extension is availed.
What Are The Working Hours For Instant Loan Processing?
Our digital systems are built to process loan applications round the clock, including weekends and holidays. However, the actual disbursal depends on factors like your bank’s uptime and lender approval.
Do I Need To Go Through The Application Process Again If I Want To Avail Another Loan From RupeeRedee?
Yes, you can quickly reapply once your previous loan has been fully repaid. Simply verify your mobile number using the OTP, confirm any updated personal or financial details, and submit your new loan application via our app.
Can I Apply After Business Hours?
Yes, you can apply for a loan anytime — day or night. Our digital platform enables application submission 24x7. Loan approval is subject to your eligibility and our partner lenders' responsible lending practices.
I haven't received my OTP. What should I do?
This may be due to network issues or delays from your service provider. Please wait for 60–90 seconds and try again.
When will my credit bureau record be updated?
Credit bureau records are generally submitted to the respective credit bureaus on a fortnightly basis. Once the data is submitted, the credit bureaus typically take around 7 to 8 working days to update the customer’s credit report. Please note that the actual update timeline may vary depending on the bureau’s internal processing.
Can I change my registered mobile number or email ID?
We can’t change the mobile no. or email ID, However, you can contact our support team to get more information.
How can I download my loan documents?
Your loan documents are available through your registered communication channels and may also be accessible within the app. If you’re unable to find them or need further help, please write to us at Contact Us and our team will assist you.
When will I receive the No Due Certificate (NDC) after full repayment?
The No Due Certificate (NDC) is typically issued upon request after successful loan closure. If you need your NDC, please reach out to our support team at [email protected], and we’ll assist you with the further steps.
I accidentally made a double payment. What should I do?
If you've accidentally made a double payment, please contact our customer support team at [email protected]. Refunds or adjustments are handled on a case-by-case basis, and any excess amount may either be refunded or adjusted as per your loan terms. Our team will assist you further after verifying the details.
What Is “Verify Your Bank Account”? Why Should I Opt For Verifying My Account Electronically?
To ensure safe and quick disbursal of your loan, lenders require electronic verification of the bank account where funds will be credited. This also helps evaluate your repayment capacity based on transaction patterns. We recommend completing this verification via our secure digital process to ensure smooth loan processing.
Is It Safe To Enter My Banking Credentials On RupeeRedee?
Yes, it is safe. Your bank login credentials are encrypted and all processes are fully compliant with applicable data security regulations and are designed to safeguard your financial information.
Can Members Of My Family Or My Friends Get Information Of My Loan?
No, we do not provide any loan related information to anyone other than the applicant or to regulators.
Why Do You Ask For A Reference And Contact Number?
We request a trusted contact’s details to ensure important loan-related communications can still be conveyed in case you are unreachable. This helps safeguard your loan status and prevent unintended delays.
What All Loan Products Does RupeeRedee Offer?
RupeeRedee offers personal loans from ₹2,000 up to ₹149,000 for tenures up to 12 months. Final terms may vary depending on your profile, repayment history, and the lender’s internal credit policy.
What Is The Process To Apply For A Loan Via RupeeRedee?

Do I Have To Log In With Facebook / Google+ Account?
No, you don’t have to log in with Facebook/ Google+ account. You can login with Mobile OTP or with a password.
Why Does RupeeRedee Require Permissions For The Android App?
While processing the loan application in a digital non face to face environment, we may require to access specific device data to protect against frauds and better underwrite our customers. Therefore, we seek your explicit permission in compliance with the Privacy Policy of the Company.
